Dream signs are anyone or anything that appears again and again in your dreams. Finding out what your dream signs are will help you become lucid much faster.
Examples of what a dream sign could be are a family member, a place, or an object. To be able to notice your dream signs you have to keep a dream journal. After two weeks of writing down your dreams go back and reread them. Highlight anything that repeats at least more than three times.
After sometime you will notice that their is one special person or object that keeps reappearing. This will be your main dream sign. Mine is my brother I see him in about 70% of my dreams.
Just as your life changes your dreams and everything about them will too. Keep your journal updated. With time your dream signs will change.
The Power of Lucid Dreaming
Hello and welcome to my blog. I would like to let you know that this blog is in progress. I am planning on writing a new post everyday. Here you will learn how to become an advanced lucid dreamer. I will teach you everything I've learned through my years of lucid dreaming.
By now I am sure you know what lucid dreaming is, in short it is knowing that you are dreaming while you're dreaming. Imagine being in a dream and suddenly realizing everything around you is not real, that you are actually just inside your mind.
In this other reality, or fantasy world anything is possible. When I say anything I mean ANYTHING, read this next passage from one of my earlier lucid dreams,
Pool Party
11/17/09
"I am in my bed I feel as if I have woken up. I can see the ceiling fan. I can also hear the whooshing sound as it spins, I do a reality check, wait a minute, I can breath through my nose, but how, I am pinching it with my fingers their is only one explanation I must be dreaming. I get up from my bed walk into the living room I look around for a few seconds 'their it is,' I say to myself as i reach for the remote control. I turn on my big screen t.v, in my dream it is more of a 100" compared to my 46" in real life, I keep flipping the channels and stop when i see a pool party outside a huge mansion. I decide this is a cool place to chill. I look at the t.v and jump in. For a few seconds I feel like I am inside a vortex Once in I am standing by the side of the pool. I can feel the suns warm rays on my skin. Their is about five women all wearing a different colored swim suit. I tell the woman in the yellow bikini to come towards me she heads my way and I turn my back. I think about what girl it would be appropriate to be with. Hmm, I think for a sec... Megan Fox, yeah that is a good choice. thinking really hard I remind myself about what I know she looks like, she has black hair and beautiful almond shaped blue eyes. I turn back around to take a look, yes it worked. I walk up to her I get closer and as I am about to kiss her, the dream starts to fade away. Dam-it I must of closed my eyes to tight because everything is going black. It seems as if I am now in my bed. I start to feel around with my hands I can feel my sheets. I open my eyes I do a reality check just in case. Sadly it fails now I am sure I have woken up."
I had much to learn about how important it is to control your emotions and staying relaxed. This was my lucid dreams about three months from when I read my first article on lucid dreaming. This was not my first lucid dream. My first one only took two weeks to have. Since then it has been four and a half years of reading everything I could find on the subject, and practicing different methods to lucid dreaming. I am now eighteen years old. Through this blog I well explain in more detail exactly what it feels like to be inside a dream. You will realize how much more their is to life then we think. In this other realm you are capable of talking with your own subconscious mind if you choose. You are able to ask your dream for anything you want, and the dream will give it to you. I will only mention ten but the things you can do in a lucid dream are unlimited.

Dream Journal
It will be very important to keep a dream journal. You should be writing down your dreams every morning. This will help improve your dream memory, trust me it will be worth the effort.
A dream journal will also prove that you are serious about lucid dreaming. The main reason you will want to keep a journal is to find dream signs. Dreams signs are anyone or anything that reoccurs in your dreams.
A good way to write in your journal is as shown in the format below. Make sure to write in the present tense. For example use 'I am' instead of 'I was'
It will be a good idea to date your dreams. Naming your dreams will help you find them much quicker in the future.
Date
(Dream Name)
(DREAM)
(Write any extra info, for example if you took galantamine)
Write everything you can remember. Even if it doesn't make sense you should still write it down. In the beginning your dreams could be as short as one sentence. After about two weeks of continuously writing down your dreams, you will notice your dreams are much longer. Every dream should be written with as much detail as possible. Going back and rereading your dreams is part of the fun in being a lucid dreamer.

The Best Lucid Dreaming Methods
Their are many different methods to have a lucid dream. If you stick to one I promise you will have a lucid dream in no time.
DILD: Dream Induced Lucid Dream. This is one of the easiest ways to attain lucidity. I would consider this is a method for beginners keeping a journal is very important as you will notice patterns forming from your dreams these are called dream signs. Once you have figured out your dream signs in real life every time you see a dream sign do a reality check
method an extended version of each method in the future. this is because you will use reality checks the most with this method. For this method to work it will involve a couple of things like reality checks, waking up a couple hours before usual and a little bit of luck.
In order for DILD to work you will need to start doing reality checks at least once an hour if you can do more great. related to the DILD method is something called all day awareness. This is pretty much like a reality check that goes out thought the whole day. Later on I will post a whole article dedicated to All day awareness.
Once you have made a habit of doing as many reality checks as possible the next step is to set your alarm about 4 hours after you go to sleep. Once you wake up do some more reality checks if you have some galantamine it would be a good idea to take it. Just go to sleep like you would any other night. In five too ten minutes all you have to do is go back to sleep and realize your dreaming. If you have ever tripped on good shrooms or LSD I am telling you that lucid dreaming is 100x better.
MILD: Stands for Mnemonic Induced Lucid Dream. This method was invented by the most famous lucid dreamer, Stephen LaBerge. It involves repeating a mantra over and over until fall asleep. This method is a little boring but if used right it has proven to be very effective. The first thing that will be needed is a mantra. Create a mantra that you will not mind repeating over and over. Something like "I will become lucid once I am dreaming" Or "Next time I am dreaming I will realize I am just dreaming." You will need to repeat this before going to sleep or even better after four hours of sleeping. You will want to repeat your mantra until you fall asleep or you have it set in your mind. When you are saying the mantra in your head you want to mean what your saying. Stay relaxed and keep all other thoughts out of your mind. Will work better if you meditate.
WILD: This method is for more experienced lucid dreamers. Wild stands for Wake Induce Lucid Dream. The concept is that your body falls asleep while your mind stays awake. To be able to achieve a lucid dream through the wild method you should already be a daily mediator. Don't let this discourage you when I first learned about WILD I tried and failed. Did you know that failing is not always a bad thing. Think about how many times Edison failed. I advise you to learn how to meditate. Don't expect to succeed on your first try, it will take time to master. But once you do the results will be amazing. Their are many different ways to do the WILD method, but let me tell you a secret ,their is no right way. The one and only right way is they way You do it. You should try again and again and until you succeed, you should learn what you did wrong each time. (btw this is a basic step way a more detailed version coming up). Ok first of all you need to set the intention all day that you want to have a lucid dream this will prepare your mind. Think about what you want to do in the lucid dream have a goal. Next set your alarm clock for four hours. This is an important step. Once my alarm clock goes off I get up from my bed and empty my bladder. I try not to think about much if anything at all. Once I do that I go back to bed and get as comfortable as I can. Next I cross my index finger with my middle finger. From their i fall asleep as i would usually do, except I don't I set all my attention on one thing my breath this is where being able to meditate comes in. Sleep paralysis comes next DON'T be afraid haha.
The cool thing about sleep paralysis is that you can set what you want to see. This way you will be more in aww instead of fear. Next is make yourself see a portal and you can send your self through that portal. You float yourself into it next you can appear in two places if you set a really good intention of being somewhere than you might go their other times the going into the portal seems to fail an you think you woken up in your bed then since your a good reality checker you check and if that reality check fails meaning you have woken up in your dream well that's great. What happens next is up too you.

Galantamine
Galantamine is called the lucid dream pill, and for a good reason. Compared to any other substance galantamine has to be my favorite. Since it was approved by the FDA in 2001 it has been used as a memory enhancer, for this reason it is prescribed to Alzheimer patients. I was introduced to galantamine about a year and a half ago. I have kept a record of all the times I have used it and out of 27 times 22 I had a lucid dream. The other 5 times although I consider failed attempts I learned from what I did wrong. I do advise you avoid drugs and alcohol the night you decide to take galantamine. I have also noticed that when I use galantamine my lucid dream usually begins in my room. I had Sleep Paralysis Every single time. Some of my lucid dreams while on galantamine lasted well over forty minutes.
*Remembering your dream is much easier
*Can be difficult to fall back to sleep
*Small headache sort of like a
hangover if you take too much
*Stomachache also could happen if you take too much
WARNING
Do Not take more than 8mg!!! You will get horrible nightmares plus you could easily get sick!
*Your chances of having a lucid dream increase
*Your dream will be extremely vivid
*Dreams last more time

Cons
*Nightmares due to sleep paralysis

I recommend to buy GalantaMind it works very well. It is a little expensive, but believe me it is well worth the money. To use it you will need to sleep at about 11:00pm sleep for 5 hours wake up at 4:00am. For better results take 8mg each pill contains 4mg so take two. Next do whatever method you have practiced MILD, DILD, or WILD.
WARNING
Do Not take more than 8mg!!! You will get horrible nightmares plus you could easily get sick!
Sleep Paralysis
"..even though my eyes are open I can't move it's as if my whole body is glued to my bed. Their is a loud buzzing sound that I can hear inside my head. I try to call my mom for help but not a single noise comes out of my mouth," after this happened to me I started praying to god because I thought I was being possessed by an evil spirit. Later on I found out this is called sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis is normal and even though we don't notice it happens to us every night. The reason we do notice it sometimes is because our mind wakes up before our body. We need this so that we do not act out our dreams. Sleep Paralysis is defined as:"A frightening form of paralysis that occurs when a person suddenly finds himself or herself unable to move for a few minutes, most often upon falling asleep or waking up. Sleep paralysis is due to an irregularity in passing between the stages of sleep and wakefulness.
The symptoms of sleep paralysis include sensations of noises, smells, levitation, paralysis, terror, and images of frightening intruders. Once considered very rare, up to half of all people are now believed to experience sleep paralysis sometime during their life. Sleep paralysis is not considered to be a sign of a serious condition, although it can be frightening."(http://www.medterms.com).

Reality Checks
A reality check is they way you check if you are dreaming or not. Their are many different reality checks you can try out. choose the one you feel most comfortable with. Here is a list of my top five reality checks.
1. Check time- Look at a clock, in dreams the numbers will not make sense. Anything could be wrong, this includes the numbers being out of order. If it looks normal look at it turn a way for a few seconds then look at it again does it still read the same time? If you have a watch it would be beneficial to check it at least ten times a day.
2. Nose plug- take two fingers and hold your nose, now try to breath. If you are able to breath then you are dreaming. This is the most reliable reality checks out of all.
3. Finger through hand- Try it now, take your index finger from one hand and try to make it go through your other hand. In a dream it will easily go right through. I like this reality check because no matter where you are your hands are always with you.
4.Extranormal hands- Check your hands, how many fingers do you have? More than likely in a dream you will have less or more than five fingers than usual.
5. Jump- This is my favorite one. All you have to do is jump, but instead of coming back down to the ground you will be suspended in the air. I only use this one once I have a good feeling I am dreaming.

My Dream Stabilization Technique
My first couple of lucid dreams did not last long at all, only a few seconds to a minute at the most. Well I got frustrated and started looking for ways to expand my time inside a dream. Once I learned about dream stabilization I was able to last much longer and finally feel what it really means to be in a lucid dream. By doing this technique your lucid dreams will last anywhere from 10-60 minutes. With more experience it will become easy to induce a lucid dream that lasts over half an hour. I hope you will benefit from this Stabilization Technique.
Once you realize you are dreaming you will need too,
Now put your hands down, look up everything should look as clear as water. You can now proceed to have fun and explore the world inside you. Reminding yourself you are dreaming through out the dream this will help you from loosing awareness. Also, remember to re-stabilize every so often you feel like the dream is fading away.
Once you realize you are dreaming you will need too,
- Reality check- This will just help assure yourself you are dreaming.
- Focus- Focusing involves relaxing and bringing your attention to the task of dream stabilization. Many newbie lucid dreamers want to rush into the dream, and start having as much fun as they can before the dream ends. What usually happens is you get really excited, and your mind starts bouncing around from thought to thought. The result will be waking up. You will need to keep these three things in mind, Stop. Relax. Focus. You will want be as calm as possible. Think of it like this, you are playing poker and in your hand you hold all four A's, even though you want to show your excitement you must control yourself. You must also firmly believe that you have plenty of time because you are in control.
- Hand Examination- Now hold your hands up in front of you look at them very closely. Notice every single detail, from wrinkles and to the little hairs. Take your time, the longer you do this the longer your dream will last.
- Verbal Commands- Once you have carefully examined your hands, start to rub them together. Feel the heat your hands are producing by rubbing them together. While doing this say, "Increase lucidity now"! by saying this you have just asked the dream to allow you to see more clearly.
Now put your hands down, look up everything should look as clear as water. You can now proceed to have fun and explore the world inside you. Reminding yourself you are dreaming through out the dream this will help you from loosing awareness. Also, remember to re-stabilize every so often you feel like the dream is fading away.

My Favorite Things To Do In A Lucid Dream
In this post I give you 10 cool ideas on what you could do in a lucid dream. Doing each one will take time, it is important to learn how to stabilize your dream before attempting these more advance tasks. I will post a great stabilizing technique as soon as I am finish writing it.
1. Flying- I put flying as my number one favorite thing to do for many reason. First of all know that being able to fly will be as free as you will ever feel. In ninety percent of my lucid dreams I choose to fly as my primary way to get from place to place. Flying is so much fun, sometimes I get distracted from my goal and decide I'd rather spend my time flying around. The ability to fly will feel very natural in the dream world. The most important thing is to remember that this is your world and here anything is more than possible including flying. For example what I do is make myself feel as light as I can. Once I feel weightless I jump and little by little I get higher. Use your arms to steer the way you would like to go. And for an even greater flying experience, grow some angel wings. It will become easier to fly as your wings will do most of the work. You could even morph yourself into an eagle and soar the skies. Flying is also the easiest way to get to space. Which takes me to my second favorite thing to do.
2. Going to Space- Have you ever wanted to become an astronaut? I know as a kid I did. Even though it is very unlikely I will ever get to go on a space mission, I can still make it happen in my dreams. Who knew bouncing on the moon could be so much fun. Or how about going to a different planet where aliens actually exist. Even just going to space and floating is wonderful. I was able to do this in one of my lucid dreams, "I am playing ping-pong outside my house with my family when suddenly I realize this is a dream, I do a reality check. Yup, I am dreaming. I then stabilize the dream. I remember my goal for my next lucid dream was to explore space. I look up in the sky it does not look like the sky I am used to seeing. This sky is more of a purple color. I fly to the top of my roof, from their I start to fly higher and higher until I am no longer on earth. I look around I see four planets around me they are big like Jupiter, but different colors some green with yellow. The ones to the other side are orange with blue rings, they look a little bit like Saturn. Everything is very quiet, I am even able to hear myself breathing. I just float their with not a thought in my head. I feel more relaxed than I have ever felt in my life." This place was so mind blowing I've had to go back every time I get the chance.
3. Time Traveling- Controlling time is one of the most fascinating things to do in a lucid dream. You can go to the past and revisit an old memory. Although going to the future will not be at all accurate, since everything you will see is just made up by your imagination. I have been able to stop time as well, "I am on the freeway. Theirs a lot of cars 'I must be in San Antonio', I think to myself. Demons are taking over the world. I get inside a car with my cousin Daniel. I am very frightened as I believe the world is about to end. While driving I do a reality check and become lucid. For some reason the car stops working. We get out, Daniel grabs a motorcycle and takes off. I really want everything to stop, with both my fist clenched I scream at the top of my lungs 'Stop'. Suddenly everything gets quiet, I look around and all the cars are frozen still. I see a demon I get close to him I observe him, I see he is made of black smoke with red eyes. My curiosity gets the best of m,e as I decide to see what he feels like I am about to touch it when it takes off to the skies. This was enough to scare me awake." As you see in dreams it is possible freeze time.
4. Eating- "I walk into an unknown house, I go to the kitchen and open the refrigerator door. As I had hoped there is a small Pizza Hut box full of traditional buffalo hot wings. I grab the box and set it on the table. I pickup a hot wing and bite it, as I do I think to myself wow this is the most delicious hot wing I've ever tasted. I only eat one wing, because even though I keep taking bite after bite the hot wing stays the same. It's as if its a magic hot wing because after biting it, it just seems to never finish." In the dream world it is possible to eat as much of any food you want. The best part about it is that you can eat a whole cheese cake by yourself without ever gaining a single pound. It would also be interesting to taste something in your dream that you have never tried in real life. Then try it for real and see how closely it resembled the food in your dream.
5. Talking to the Subconscious- This is one of the most rewarding parts of lucid dreaming. Your subconscious is full of useful information. It is very capable of responding to any question you have for it. For your first time talking to your subconscious I would recommend asking it to show you something important. To do this all you have to do is stop what your doing and look up and shout your request. I promise you this will be one of your greatest experiences. Pay attention to your subconscious it has much to show you. You will learn a lot from it.
6. Looking in the mirror- Not only is this fun, but it will help you get great insight on yourself. The mirror will be a great tool to use in your lucid dreams. You can even reach your subconscious through it. I scared myself a little the first time I looked in the mirror. I could see my reflection but it was not me at all, I describe myself in this next passage from my journal, " My head is much larger than normal, my face looks much more round, and I have small freckles all over it. It also looks like I am missing a lot of hair, my teeth look as though I haven't washed them in years." Though at first I was freaked out after a few minutes I thought it was funny. I have messed around with the mirror many more times. I have learned that if you jump into the mirror you will come out in a totally new place. These experiments have made me realize how trippy lucid dreaming really is.
7. Popping the magic pill- Have you ever wanted to have a superpower. By taking this pill, the one you have just found in your pocket, you will gain any ability of your choice. My personal favorite is pyrokinesis "... already lucid I walk down main street I'm feeling a little destructive. I think for a minute what power I should use. I remember about a cool way to have powers, I reach into my pocket and just as I had thought it would be their I grab the little red pill. I swallow the pill and say to myself 'I am hoping it will give me fire powers.' I snap my finger imagining I can produce fire nothing happens. A little disappointed I try it again this time assuring myself it will work. I put my hand out in front of me my palm up, again I imagine a flame on it. It begins to feel very warm, some fire comes out of the my palm. I concentrate to make the fire grow. Now I have a good size ball of fire in my hand, I throw it at a blue truck the truck immediately blows up..." Haha sometimes becoming the villain can be more fun than being the superhero.
8. Music- Lucid dreaming takes music to a whole new level. One time I woke up early in the morning, it was around 4 a.m. At first I couldn't go back to sleep. I decided to grab and listen to some music on my Ipod. As I was falling asleep I could still hear the music, I felt my body start to go numb. I was entering sleep paralysis. When I could start to see more clearly I noticed I was at my friends house and we were sitting at a table. I had gone from sleeping directly into the dream. I could hear the song I was listening to just before I had fallen asleep. Once I could hear the music it made me realize I was dreaming. The music sounded cooler than ever. Plus it had helped me become lucid which was a great discovery.
9. Meeting famous people- So far I have been able to talk to my favorite rapper Eminem. He gives me great tips on how to become a better rapper. Meeting famous people also includes going to their sold out concerts. I also like to party with my favorite actresses including Selena Gomez, Megan Fox, and Jennifer Lawrence. A crazy thing I found out by going to these parties is that if you drink you will feel drunk just like you would in real life.
10. Explore the ocean- "I'm on a small boat in what seems the middle of the ocean. I start to hear a loud roaring noise. I can see a tornado start to form just ahead of me. At this point I am frightened, I proceed to do a reality check as this does not seem right. I become lucid seeing the tornado get closer to me I jump into the water. The first thing I notice is how easy it is to breath. I keep swimming to the bottom. On my way I see a dolphin, I pet it for a little bit. I am about to get on its back when I wake up." It might of only lasted a few minutes but I also learned a lot. I learned that their is nothing to fear in the dream world. Once I lost the fear of the possibility of me drowning this dream became an adventure.
Feel free to comment and talk about some of your favorite lucid dreams.
